The Euro Jackpot is modelled around a very similar structure to the Euromillions Lottery with players having to choose 5 main numbers and 2 extra numbers.
Euromillions Number Format:
- Lottery players to choose 5 numbers from a possible 50 and 2 extra ‘star’ numbers from a possible 11 numbers
Euro Jackpot Number Format:
- Lottery players to choose 5 numbers from a possible 50 and 2 extra numbers out of a possible 8 numbers
So as you can see the Euro Jackpot will be offering slightly better odds than Euromillions (1:59 million), but as is usually the case with lotteries that are easier to win, the top jackpots will not be as high.
